Another aspect that many new to investing overlook is the possibility of investing through an IRA. If your goal is to build wealth over an extended period, or even specifically for your retirement, IRAs are a great option to help increase returns. They allow you to invest while avoiding using taxed income. Or, a Roth IRA allows you to invest in real estate and be taxed up front, but not be taxed on the returns – many prefer this option because over the course of 15+ years, your returns should be more than your initials investments.
