Phoenix real estate investing seminars, you've probably heard of them or know somebody who attended one. There is one for-sure method to make tons of cash in real estate: Put on Get Rich Quick in Hose Flipping seminars and then peddle additional CDs, books and e-Courses for big bucks to the crowds of people who attend.

With all the news about the alleged fraud perpetrated by Trump University, and how it fleeced unsuspecting victims, is it any wonder that most modern day journalists don't know that the Real Estate Investing Seminar scam was around long before Trump. And it continues to be alive and well today, perpetrating exactly the same thing Trump is accused of.

If you live in the Phoenix or the surrounding cities, for sure your mailbox has been stuffed with postcards and letter inviting you to Phoenix real estate investing seminars. When you turn on your TV, the screens are filled with infomercials spewing the benefits of real estate and promising that if you follow the Guru’s “tried-and-true” moneymaking methods, you WILL make as much money as you want.

Attending the “grand tour” version of Phoenix real estate investing seminars, almost always put on in a large hotel ballroom for free (at first) and led by the larger-than-life Infomercial Real Estate Guru, is for sure a waste of your time and money. If we at the Matrix had not seen this with our own eyes at the many seminars we have attended over the decades, we would not have believed that so many hardworking Phoenicians would give away their hard-earned cash for a chance to get rich quick in Phoenix real estate. Inevitably, the seminars all adhere to a similar pattern.

The Guru yells at the assembled group, “Who here makes enough money?” When he hears that no one in the crowd makes enough money, he trots for them strategies to be used to “generate money in real estate.” and spends about an hour talking about the path to riches. Literally, every seminar we have attended uses testimonials from previous attendees, all stating that in just a few short months after taking the full seminar, they got rich. At the end of the seminar, there is a rush to the back of the hall to people with laptop computers and credit-card-processing accounts, ready and willing to take your money.

The real estate gurus are cunning salesmen and will toy with your emotions to take your money. Learn to see through the sales tactics they are utilizing so you can keep your cash in your bank account. Make logical decisions, not decisions made on emotion. There are some amazing organizations out there that provide real education for investors, learn to recognize them.
